We understand the workplace, not just the law. Our founder, Lesley Walford, is former managing director of a national training company and has 15 years’ experience as an employer. We keep abreast of the constantly changing rules and regulations and have a genuine interest in all aspects of the employer/employee relationship.


Very simply, we aim to take the worry out of workplace issues, by making sense of employment law. We recognise that there is usually more than one solution to a problem and we will explain your options in clear, jargon-free language. We will work with you to achieve an outcome that’s right for you.


We are available out of hours and will make every effort to provide you with a quick response by phone, email or in person. We agree timescales and stick to them. We will also keep you updated, so you are never in the dark.

We won’t overcharge you

We recognise that solicitors often get a bad press when it comes to charges and we sympathise with clients who’ve had a bad experience.  We will always agree fees with you before doing any work. We will invoice you monthly, to help you spread the cost. And we will let you have updated estimates on an ongoing basis. But most importantly, since our charges are highly competitive, fair and transparent, you will receive real value for money.

And finally…

We recognise that the relationship between employer and employee is a contract with rights and obligations on both sides. For the relationship to flourish, there has to be a meeting of minds - a consensus - based on mutual respect and dignity. This is our philosophy and we look forward to being of service to you.
